"Thomas! Thomas, watch where you're-"
Even as Abel curled closer to his mother, Thomas hurtled himself forward, paying no heed to the man who was walking down the path in the park. "Oh, goodness- I'm so sorry," Tara was levering herself to her feet - it wasn't easy with a sleepy one year old and a precocious toddler, even less so now that she was five and a half months pregnant herself.
It only took her a second to get up, though, and she shifted Abel higher on her hip as she moved to catch Thomas' hand where he was staring up at Charlie with wide, wide eyes. "Sorry, he's not really all that great in watching where he's going, yet." She smiles wider, ruffling Thomas' hair. "We're working on it."

Sort of. Abel, right now, was younger than his brother, even though he should be a full year and a half older.
It was... a mess. "That is Thomas. Thomas? Say hello to Charlie."
"Hello," he obediently parroted, his brows furrowing a little, and babbling something, that the only clear word from it was 'hair' - but Tara understood, because it came from being around her children 24/7. "His hair is orange. Or, red, really." She flashed a smile to Charlie. "Sorry, we're working on learning colors past an apple is red, sort of thing. How've you been?"

"I've been well. Keeping busy. And how are you doing? Are you feeling well?" He asks, aware that she's expecting her third child. Blimey, that could be Ron and Hermione, soon enough; expecting their third child. And suddenly, Charlie feels older than he is, in that moment.

"It's one of the things I've never really gotten used too - having to take time off, even though I'm definitely happy that I've got the time to take." She's still not wrapped her head around the fact that she knows Charlie Weasley, as in Harry Potter. It's.... odd, to say the least.

"Well, I hope you get to enjoy your time off. You seem like you enjoy staying busy. I'm kind of the same way, myself," he grins.

She smiles, and shrugs. She's going to enjoy her time off - definitely - but mostly because... well.
"Honestly, I think I'm going to be busy enough," she said with a smile. "I mean, they're all so young, it's definitely going to be a handful." She's going to need all the help she can get, but that's why she's glad they've built such a network of family here.

"I think they're the most fun when they're young," Charlie says, observing Thomas playing with his stick. "Before you know it, they'll be teenagers."
no subject
She groans when Charlie talks about them being teenagers. "Oh, no. Don't you say that. They're not allowed to be teenagers," she says with a laugh. "I can't even handle that."
no subject
"It'll happen sooner than you think," he warns her with a chuckle. "And look out for the quiet ones - my twin brothers were fairly innocent as toddlers and they grew into demons."
no subject
She wrinkles her nose. "I hope not. I really hope not, i just want them to be happy," she says with another laugh - that that them being happy and being teenagers is mutually exclusive, but..... ah, well.
"You're not helping me feel better, Charlie," she says when he talks about Fred and George.
no subject
"No, I suppose I aren't, aren't I?" He says with an apologetic shrug. "Well, if you ever need advice on how to deal with unruly teenage boys, I was one, once, myself, and I grew up with sometimes demonic younger brothers."
no subject
"I'll keep that in mind," she says with a laugh. "And a younger sister, too, right?" Her brows ride as she asks, her lips curving up into a smile as she rubs the curve of her belly, because... it's a girl, and she's still not actually settled into what that means, yet.
no subject
"Yes, Ginny," Charlie says, before he pauses. "Wait, how did you know I have a sister?"
no subject
"I meant that Thomas and Abel will have a younger sister - you have one, too?" Tara smiles wider, having no issue looking like that's what she meant this whole time. "Ginny's a nice name - how much younger than you is she?"
