"And a lot of people who just.... they're dead, but there's no funerals at all, Jax." She swallows thickly. "How can we have gotten away? How?" She's curled close against him, and her hands are full of puppy, but she wants to be as close to him, and so she tucks herself so her cheek is very nearly resting on his kutte.
