"When they're in bed," Tara said with a nod, her voice low, before she nods the moment that he says some kind of warrior name.. "That. That's what she needs. She's... fierce." Even though she was currently sprawled half in Jax's lap with her jaw stretching for some sort of long yawn.

"She's still a baby," she said after a second, out of the blue. Her eyes flick to his, and furrow together, but her thumb slowly smooths over the back of his hand. She's trying, maybe, to explain why she'd needed to bring her home.

"I haven't heard of Macha, but... I like it. I think it's a good name." She hadn't even asked at first, although Jax may tell her anyway - but she'd already started referring to the puppy as Macha in her head. "Is it short for anything, or is that just the name?" She shifted to catch Thomas just before he could wrap his hand around her tail. "Remember, be careful, alright sweetheart?"
